As the name suggests, wall breakers are specifically useful to break and enter into enemy walls, especially useful against a heavily fortified town or forts. Their strategy is to attack nearest enclosed wall, ignore all other targets and buildings, and does a splash damage of 40x against the walls.
Their strength multiplies in groups, and they do not rest till a single fragment of wall is standing straight in enemy territory, making them vulnerable to other enemy troops and buildings. When all walls are destroyed, they act as a normal troop without any preselected target in task and can be deployed against any kind of troops or buildings.
Wall breakers appear as an image of skeleton and they are the fifth troop that can be unlocked from the barracks, the improvement over their level is limited comparing to other class of troops, they can be updated upto level 6.
They are used as a first layer in a group of troops who are deployed earliest to break enemy walls to cave a path for giants and mortars to destroy enemy defense buildings. They also target any nearby building or turret which is trapped by walls and destroy those walls to free them.
The weak point of wall breakers is their low health and high elixir cost, due to which they can be killed easily causing heavy losses. To prevent this, they are deployed along with giants to distract enemy troops while breaking walls so giants can be used to distract enemy troops while they break walls.
